Mornings in the area just got a little sweeter. Shipley Donuts, the Texas-based donut giant, is officially opening its first Pinellas County outpost on December 15.
The new donut shop straddles the line between Clearwater and St. Pete, located at 4004 Ulmerton Road next to Carillon Business Park and across from St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport. The popular shop serves more than 40 varieties of donuts and savory kolaches, handmade and baked fresh daily. The store also serves La Colombe coffee.
Shipley Donuts will be open from 5 am – 8 pm daily, including its drive-thru service. It is just the third location in Florida, and it was a Pinellas County native who brought Shipley to the area.
