Taneka Bowles, founder of the Tampa Bay Fashion Experience (TBFE) and the Tampa Bay Fashion Foundation (TBFF), is expanding her public work around inclusive fashion and community investment as the organization enters its third year. Taneka Bowles is married to Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles, who leads his team into a “Thursday Night Football” matchup against the Atlanta Falcons at 8:15 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.
Since launching in 2023, TBFE has developed into a dual-track enterprise: a fashion platform built to place underrepresented talent on major runways and a philanthropic arm that directs funds and services to families across Tampa Bay.
Essence reports that TBFE has raised more than $250,000 for local charities since its inaugural show, with participants later securing spots at New York Fashion Week and Miami Swim Week. TBFF materials cite that more than 30,000 individuals were served through community programs.
