PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The Pinellas County Tax Collector’s office traded calculators for coloring books this month, transforming into a makeshift Santa’s Workshop to support local foster families.
In a festive shift from their usual government duties, employees participated in a massive toy drive benefiting Angels Against Abuse, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting children in the foster care system. The partnership aims to bring a traditional holiday experience to families who might otherwise go without.
The initiative wasn’t a corporate mandate but a staff-led choice. Earlier in 2025, employees at the Tax Collector’s office nominated and voted for Angels Against Abuse as their designated charity for the year.
