RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) — A jury has recommended a life sentence for a man convicted of killing two people, including a pregnant woman, at a Ruskin mobile home in 2018.
The jury was asked to consider several factors in the case to determine whether or not McKinsie Lyons should receive the death penalty.

Both the prosecution and defense presented evidence appealing to the jury, with prosecutors describing the crime as “shockingly evil,” and the defense stating that the death penalty should be “reserved for the worst of the worst cases.”
