ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – With Christmas Day landing on a Thursday this year, St. Petersburg officials are adjusting the calendar for city services. Residents who usually see trash trucks on Thursdays will need to be ready a day early.
According to the city, residential trash and recycling trucks will not run on December 25. If your scheduled pickup day is Thursday, crews will instead come by on Wednesday, December 24.
