Pinellas County DUI ‘Wolf Pack’ Nets 16 Drunk Drivers And Over 200 Citations

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – The numbers are in following a law enforcement crackdown on Pinellas County roads this weekend, and the results show a busy night for deputies and officers. The “Wolf Pack” operation, a multi-agency effort designed to target impaired driving, resulted in 36 criminal charges and 233 citations between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office released the final tally on Sunday, revealing that 16 drivers were arrested for DUI during the 10-hour saturation patrol.

The operation, which ran from 7:00 p.m. Saturday to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, flooded major thoroughfares with units from the Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Highway Patrol, and seven local police departments.
