MADIERA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA)— A 69-year-old man who was physically assaulted at a Madeira Beach bar was awarded more than $12 million for his injuries.
A Pinellas County jury awarded the man $12.475 million after he was physically assaulted at Saltwater Hippie Bar in Madeira Beach, Morgan & Morgan announced.
On March 11, 2022, the man was at the Satlwater Hippie Bar with his dog when he was approached by a man who had already been asked to leave the bar because he was visibly intoxicated.
According to Morgan & Morgan, the man started playing with the victim’s dog, fell over, and then attacked the victim, causing him to fall and hit his head on the concrete wall…
