The Max Defender 8 weather team is tracking our next cold front that looks to arrive next week.
Low and high temperatures stay warmer-than-average through the weekend and into Monday, Dec. 29, with lows in the 50s and lower 60s and highs in the upper 70s.
The cold front looks to pass through the Tampa Bay area throughout the day Monday into Tuesday, Dec. 30. This is expected to pack a punch, dropping both high and low temperatures well below average.
We’ll feel the chill initially on Tuesday afternoon, as highs only reach the 60s. From there, the cold air continues to settle into the area, bringing the brunt of the cold on Wednesday morning with lows in the 30s and low 40s.
New Year’s Day will be chilly with wake-up temps around 45° in downtown Tampa and a high of 67°. Temperatures then remain stuck below normal for the rest of next week…
