TAMPA, Fla. – It is time to keep both the sunglasses and the heavy winter jackets on standby. The final days of 2025 are bringing a weather rollercoaster to the region, starting with dense morning fog and near-80-degree heat before plummeting into the 30s just in time for the holiday festivities.
The week kicks off with a familiar, humid pattern. Drivers should exercise caution this morning and again on Monday morning, as dense fog is expected to reduce visibility significantly before 10 a.m. Once the haze lifts, however, the area will see mostly sunny skies and unseasonably warm afternoons. Highs are forecast to reach 78 degrees today and 77 on Monday.
But the flip-flops won’t last long…
