CLEARWATER, Florida — An 18-year-old Aveda Institute student was arrested on January 5, 2026, for making written threats to commit a mass shooting, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Addison Gass, of Largo, allegedly posted a photograph with a text overlay stating, “i’m abt to shoot up this school” and “they done pissed me tf off.”
Deputies reported that upon contacting Gass, she admitted to the post and expressed frustration over a dress code violation.
