ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Police are searching for two women accused of pepper-spraying CVS employees during a robbery at the store on Third Street South, according to St. Petersburg police.
Investigators said the suspects walked into the downtown store just before midnight Monday. Surveillance video shows one suspect forcing their way behind the counter and shoving a clerk while the second suspect pepper-sprayed the employee, police said. A second employee who tried to intervene was also sprayed.
Police said the suspects got away with more than $1,000 in merchandise and are believed to be connected to other robberies in the area…
