A Tampa Police officer was arrested after a domestic violence investigation.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested the Tampa Police Officer following a domestic violence investigation after deputies previously responded to Brandon Regional Hospital, where an adult female victim was being treated for injuries consistent with a physical battery.
Detectives determined the injuries were the result of an altercation between the victim and 47-year-old Steven Barber.
According to local law enforcement, Barber repeatedly struck the victim by slapping, punching, and kicking her. Barber also placed the victim in a headlock that restricted her ability to breathe…
