Back in December, What Now reported on plans for Dead Bob’s to open a sister restaurant, Bob’s Side Piece. That project is moving along steadily, and Dead Bob’s owner Ben Scherlis—who is launching Bob’s Side Piece in partnership with Jim Breazeale of DeLosa’s Pizzeria—says its expected to open in mid-February in St. Petersburg, in the original Dead Bob’s location.
“It’s going to specialize in old school Italian subs, and specialty pizzas as well,” Scherlis told What Now on Friday.
As it turns out, however, that’s not all Dead Bob’s has in the works. This week, St. Pete Rising reported that the brand is branching out again, with Dead Bob’s Waterfront Kitchen, opening inside Madeira Beach’s Holiday Isles Elks Lodge…
