TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Hillsborough County and Feeding Tampa Bay partnered to bring dozens of families meals for the week on Saturday morning.
“It’s a health crisis, unfortunately,” said Anna Leon, Hillsborough neighborhood partnership coordinator for Feeding Tampa Bay. “We really want to make sure that people are getting nutritious foods, making sure that everyone is well fed, feeling good, because energy is going to make you want to do more, make you happier, just keep going.”

Organizers said they’re aiming to give people the nutrients that they need for a week, but by doing so, they’re also taking one expense off their hands.
