A man was arrested for striking a patrol vehicle and fleeing the scene in Tampa.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after he struck an unmarked patrol vehicle during a traffic stop and fled the scene.
Earlier this month, a deputy was conducting an unrelated traffic stop on Adamo Drive near Orient Road in Tampa at 3:01am. The deputy was inside his patrol vehicle with emergency lights activated when a vehicle traveling eastbound struck the driver’s side of his vehicle.
