BOGO apps at this downtown St. Pete brewpub are the tastiest deal around

If you’re trying to save money but still want to enjoy yourself, you can have your nachos and eat them too, thanks to Voodoo Brewing Co. The downtown St. Pete brewpub is serving up one of February’s best dining deals. For a limited time only, enjoy buy one, get one free appetizers every Monday–Thursday throughout this month. This includes everything from their gigantic, fresh-baked pub pretzels and famous smoked chicken wings to beer mussels, seared ahi tuna, and a mega-sized pulled pork nacho platter.

The official Jeopardy! quiz night at Voodoo

If, like us, you enjoy a good game night, then the BOGO apps special comes with perfect timing. Voodoo hosts free Trivia Night every Wednesday at 7 pm, led by DJ Robin. In addition to half-off apps and a full bar with cocktails, craft beer, wine, and mocktails, trivia participants can also win prizes and giveaways throughout the night. There are no losers in this kind of trivia night. Though that won’t stop us from trying to win.

Meanwhile, Voodoo has also introduced Jeopardy! Bar League every Thursday at 7: 30 pm. The Jeopardy!-themed quiz show battle is “The official bar trivia experience from America’s Favorite Quiz Show.” In other words, this is the real deal Jeopardy!, and you can have the most affordable dinner in town between rounds. It’s the best kind of Daily Double.

We are big believers in the idea that nachos should be wider, not taller. Spread the toppings out evenly, make sure every chip is loaded with goodness, and prevent sogginess by leaving those poor chips at the bottom of the pile. That’s not to mention that the corn tortilla chips are fried in-house, giving them that extra satisfying freshness and crunch…
