TAMPA, Florida – The Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office announced Friday that a jury has found Logan Williams guilty of attempting to kill a deputy with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office while trying to evade arrest.
The incident began in January 2025 when deputies responded to a residence on Williams Road in Tampa. According to prosecutors, Williams had cut his 87-year-old family member with a knife during an argument. When deputies arrived at the home, Williams fled the scene in his vehicle.
