ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — A St. Petersburg police officer has been arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
Curtis Wright, a police officer assigned to the Uniform Patrol Bureau, was taken into custody on February 16. Wright, who was sworn in on April 10, 2010, is currently on parental leave until March 6. Following his leave, he is scheduled to begin an administrative assignment on March 7.
