RIVERVIEW, Fla. – A 34-year-old man is behind bars this week following a violent confrontation over a rifle that left one person wounded and sparked a multi-day search across Hillsborough County.
The incident began on the evening of February 16, 2026, when neighbors near the 10300 block of Wine Press Avenue in Riverview called 911 to report the sound of screams and several gunshots. When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds to both his face and his foot.
