ST. PETERSBURG, Florida — Officer Brandon Klaiber resigned from the St. Petersburg Police Department following allegations of sharing confidential information from police databases, according to a press release from the department.
Late last year, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement notified the St. Petersburg Police Department of potential criminal violations involving Klaiber, who allegedly shared protected information with a suspect. On April 15, 2025, Pinellas Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the 17-year veteran officer and charged him with two counts of offenses against intellectual property.
