TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Hillsborough County deputies were able to stop a “dangerous driver” fleeing a traffic stop back in Dec. utilizing a grappler device, which had only recently been added to their patrol vehicles.
On Dec. 17, deputies were in pursuit of a suspect fleeing a traffic stop at high speeds.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, aviation monitored the vehicle as it moved through the area, exiting onto Bearss Avenue and continuing south on Nebraska Avenue where it encountered heavier traffic…
