PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – Pinellas County motorists should prepare for travel shifts as the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 begins a heavy week of maintenance and construction. Starting Sunday, March 8, through Saturday, March 14, multiple interstate and local routes will undergo lane closures ranging from overnight shifts to 24-hour restrictions.
Interstate travel will be primarily affected during the late evening and early morning hours. On I-175, lanes between 16th Street S and 4th Street S will close nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., starting Sunday and concluding Thursday morning.
Drivers on I-275 will face similar conditions from 38th Avenue North (Exit 25) to north of Roosevelt Boulevard (Exit 30), with closures scheduled from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Additionally, the Sunshine Skyway Bridge will see night lane closures from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. through Thursday…
