TAMPA, Fla. — Prices at the pump continue to rise in Florida and across the Tampa Bay area as the ongoing conflict in Iran continues to impact oil production.
The price for a barrel of Brent crude oil, the international standard, surged to $119.50 per barrel early in the day Monday, but later was trading near $106 per barrel, up 14%, before the opening bell.
This is in comparison to the previous week, where the cost of crude oil was up to $71 per barrel. This was reported as the highest price since June 2025…
