PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — 34 criminal charges and 130 citations. These are the numbers shared by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office after conducting a weekend-long operation in the area, targeting impaired drivers in roadways.
Sunday, deputies with PCSO said that, with the help of multiple local police agencies, as well as the Florida Highway Patrol, they conducted the DUI Wolf Pack Operation, which began at 7 p.m. on Saturday and ended at 5 a.m. on Sunday.
As a result, deputies say they issued 34 criminal charges, including:
- DUI: 25
- Felony drug charges: 1
- Arrest for driving while license is suspended or revoked: 2
- Other misdemeanor arrests: 1
- Warrant arrest: 1
Deputies also shared numbers of the citations they issues, which totalled 130 and include:
- Driving while license suspended or revoked: 11
- No insurance: 2
- Speeding tickets: 38
- Seat belt: 3
- Driver’s license restriction: 2
- Open container: 1
- Non-moving violations: 22
- Moving violations: 26
- DUI citations: 25
