St. Petersburg Ranked Best Place To Live in Florida

St. Petersburg took the top spot as Florida’s best place to live. The city also ranked eighth across the Southeast, per a new study from Livability. Researchers examined small- and mid-sized cities with populations ranging from 75,000 to 500,000.

Livability partnered with Applied Geographic Solutions to crunch dozens of data points. Affordability and opportunities for building careers carried the most weight in their analysis. The website compiled a Top 100 list spanning from Texas to Maryland, pulling cities from Florida up through North Carolina, according to I Love the Burg.com.

St. Pete scored high marks for several reasons. Work-life balance amenities stood out. Housing costs remain manageable compared to other metro areas. The city earned a perfect score on inclusivity measures. Public transportation options abound, and businesses continue opening shop here.
