The EDGE District’s only rooftop bar just got a tasty upgrade. Sparrow Rooftop, sitting atop The Moxy hotel at 1234 Central Avenue, announced that it has hired a new Executive Chef and launched an updated Asian-fusion menu under his guidance.
Executive Chef Tony Van Hang brings decades of experience to Sparrow, with an upbringing in Vietnam complemented by his extensive work in the States as a professional chef. That combo made him the ideal person to the lead transformation of Sparrow’s Asian-fusion menu.
The new offerings include bao buns, sushi and ceviche, alongside existing favorites such as Sparrow’s dumplings and shumai. The Moxy says Hang blends classic techniques with modern Asian flavors, “creating dishes that are both deeply satisfying and visually striking.” The fusion menu is also designed to highlight the excellent craft cocktail program at the rooftop bar…
