PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla — During a house fire spreading in Pinellas County, a deputy rushed to the scene, where she ended up getting a disabled elderly person to safety. East Lake Fire Rescue later recognized her for her work.
Deputy Kennedy Boone, with Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, was close to a fire incident last month. When she heard about the incident, she made her way to the scene, PCSO said.
In a video shared by the sheriff’s office, East Lake Fire Rescue crews are seen working. Deputy Boone is seen talking to people outside the burning home. She then goes to the house next door, where, according to PCSO, she learned people were still inside a house next to the fire…
