St. Petersburg breaks ground on $8-million Fire Station No. 2

Construction is underway on a new $8 million Fire Station No. 2 at 6560 26th Avenue N., a modern facility designed to replace the department’s aging station and better serve west St. Petersburg.

The 8,700-sq. ft. building will feature two bays, a fitness room, a decontamination area, bunker gear storage, showers, and individual sleeping quarters.
