HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A New Port Richey man was arrested Wednesday morning after the Florida Highway Patrol said he led a high-speed chase on the Veterans Expressway, crashed into another car and ran from the scene.
Troopers said the suspect, Jordan Jobes, passed an unmarked Florida Highway Patrol vehicle at a high speed on State Road 589 (Veterans Expressway) near mile marker 12 in Hillsborough County around 6:40 a.m.
