PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – If you’re planning to hit the road in Pinellas County next week, you might want to pad your commute time. The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 7 has released its latest maintenance and construction schedule, detailing a long list of lane closures spanning from the Sunshine Skyway up to North County, effective May 3 through May 9.
Night owls and early birds will feel the brunt of the work on I-275. The Sunshine Skyway Bridge is scheduled for nightly lane closures starting Sunday, May 3, running through Friday morning.
Crews will be active from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night. Additionally, southbound I-275 will see restricted lanes between Gandy Boulevard and 54th Avenue North from Sunday night through Thursday…
