The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission will hold a public meeting starting at 8 a.m. August 14, to consider adopting proposed rules for an electronic vessel monitoring requirement in the Oregon ocean commercial Dungeness crab fishery and to establish additional criteria and guidelines for issuing experimental fishing gear permits.
The Commission will also consider a housekeeping amendment to align rules on surface gear for commercial crab with distributed outreach materials.
