A woman called Keizer police July 17 to report that she had shot and killed her husband and to tip them off about his body’s location so their children wouldn’t find him, according to court records that were unsealed Aug. 20.
The caller identified herself as Shelly Rae Peca, the Keizer woman accused of murder who was arrested by federal marshals in Washington in late July.
The caller, who reached the Keizer Police Department’s non-emergency line at about 9:58 a.m., refused to tell the dispatcher where she was, only that she was “taking a little trip down memory lane” before she would turn herself in…
