A major change in agricultural distribution could give Oregon farmers another source of support for crop inputs. Salem, OR-based Pratum Cooperative is joining the Aligned Ag Distributors ownership group.
For Oregon growers, Pratum says the move will help preserve its independence while providing more consistent access to products farmers need, including crop protection products and other inputs. Pratum serves more than 30 crops across the Willamette Valley and Central Oregon, including hazelnuts, berries, grass and specialty seed crops, hay, forage and alfalfa.
