George Fox kicked off its 2026 campaign with a 27-0 trouncing of the Redlands Bulldogs on Sept. 5 at home. It was the Bruins’ first shutout win since 2018.
The first play of the game proved to be a harbinger of things to come when defensive end Jacob Erickson added to his top all-time school record for sacks by dumping Bulldog quarterback Tobey Schmidt. He registered a tackle for loss on the next play.
