SALEM, Ore. (KOIN) — Parents begging for clarity as leaders in one of Oregon’s largest school districts are deciding which schools to close.
In 2027, up to eight schools in the Salem-Keizer School District will be closing. In a meeting on Tuesday, district leaders voted on a set of rules they need to follow in order to choose which schools will be on the chopping block.
