A Marion County resident has been arrested in a stolen vehicle investigation in Lincoln City.
Lincoln Coity Police Department (LCPD) officers responded to the area of SE Drift Creek Road and SE Hemlock Drive just before midnight Sept. 6, to assist Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO deputies with the investigation of a stolen vehicle.
Officers learned a male suspect, later identified as 37-year-old Joseph Mealler, of Marion County Oregon, had stolen a vehicle from a nearby quarry, then fled the area on foot when LCSO Deputies attempted to contact him, according to LCPD Sgt Torin Liden…
