SALEM – Oregon’s Rebuilding Our Transportation Vision Workgroup holds its fifth meeting today (Wednesday) from 1-5 p.m. in Salem. The meeting can be viewed on the Oregon Department of Transportation’s YouTube channel.
Gov. Tina Kotek appointed the group and charged them with coming up for solutions to ODOT’s funding crisis. The goals of the fifth meeting are to synthesize what the group has learned to date, confirm priority criteria for evaluation of recommendations, review subgroup recommendations, review potential funding tools and establish an understanding of how options will be evaluated in future meetings.
Umatilla County Board of Commissioners Chair Dan Dorran is a member of the workgroup. He is also the chair of the Northeast Area Commission on Transportation and co-chair of the Association of Oregon Counties Transportation and Community Development Subcommittee.
