SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) – Retired Major General Alexander Burgin, the former Adjutant General of the Oregon National Guard, was at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 11, 2001. As the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attack approaches, Burgin shared his experience with FOX 12.
“Felt like the earth was moving,” Burgin said. “It just kind of jerked and I thought, man, never had an earthquake in Washington DC.”
