MILLERSBURG, Ore. – Deputies caught a man they say is responsible for a crime spree in Millersburg that included car break-ins, thefts and stolen vehicles.
According to Sheriff Michelle Duncan, Millersburg residents dealt with a wave of overnight car break-ins between Aug. 20 and Sept. 10. Deputies responded to five cars broken into with items stolen, a burglary at a local business, gasoline stolen from two farms and two stolen cars that were later found.
Deputies worked to identify a suspect while building their cases. With help from victims, deputies identified Austin Kleinberg, 27, of Salem, as the suspect and focused on finding him in the Salem area…
