Salem teacher fired after allegedly killing person in DUII crash, district says

SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) – A Salem teacher accused of killing a woman and injuring another in a DUII crash back in August has been fired, according to Salem-Keizer Public Schools.

Tristen Wilson, 28, was arrested on August 3 after he hit two people on a sidewalk while driving impaired and left the scene, according to Salem Police.

Police say 32-year-old Alexis McDonald was seriously hurt in the crash and later died from her injuries, while the second victim, a 45-year-old man, suffered minor injuries…
