ALBANY, Ore. – A woman died at the Linn County Jail on Saturday after deputies found her unresponsive in her cell during morning breakfast service, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Linn County Sheriff Michelle Duncan, jail deputies were conducting hourly cell checks around 6:55 a.m. on Oct. 3 when they found Bobbie Jo Allen, 61, of Albany, experiencing an apparent medical emergency. Deputies immediately started lifesaving measures and called for emergency medical help.
