The 17th annual Olio Nuovo Festival, a monthlong Italian-inspired celebration of the season’s olive harvest, is quickly approaching at Durant Vineyards, near Dundee.
During the entire month of November, visitors can experience and celebrate the olive harvest via mill tours, cooking demonstrations, tastings, live music and other events that bring together local chefs, makers and producers at the Yamhill County winery at 5430 N.E. Breyman Orchards Road.
“Every harvest brings something a little different to the oil, which is what makes Olio Nuovo so exciting,” owner Paul Durant said in a release. “This is the moment when the oil is at its freshest and most vibrant, and we love sharing that experience through tastings, food and the many ways people can explore the mill during the festival..”…
