Woman shot boyfriend in head during domestic violence incident: Albany police

PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — A man is in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head following a domestic disturbance involving his girlfriend, Albany Police said.

It all unfolded in the early morning of Thursday near the 600 block of 34th Ave. SE when a 911 call was placed at roughly 2:13 a.m. by the man’s roommate. The roommate said the man was shot by his girlfriend at the home, police said.

Officers located the victim near the front door “with a gunshot wound to his head.” He was described as being in “critical condition” after he was transported to the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Corvallis following the Albany Fire Department performing life-saving measures and transporting him to the hospital.

Police identified the man as 30-year-old Lucas Forbes, of Albany. The girlfriend was identified as Hami W. Lee, 24.
