SALEM, Ore. (KPTV) – One person was killed in a shooting that happened early Thursday morning in Salem. At about 1:30 a.m., a Marion County deputy responded to a report of gunfire in the 1100 block of Cordon Road Southeast and found a car blocking the roadway. Salem police say the driver, a 23-year-old man whose name has not yet been released, was found dead inside the car from an apparent gunshot wound.
