* There’s no real excuse for this loss. Sure, Oregon State’s splits are insanely better at home than the road, but Arizona is the better team. On paper, this was an awful matchup for the Beavers and at no point did it look like that on the court. Arizona’s defense made Oregon State look like one of the best offenses in the country and it’s obviously not even close. The lack of effort and communication on defensive rotations was terrible and it’s become an issue that Tommy Lloyd needs to find a way to address.
