Forbes’ girlfriend, Hami W. Lee, 24, initially was charged with second-degree assault, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon — she is now being charged with first-degree manslaughter, police said.

Early Thursday morning near the 600 block of 34th Ave. SE, a 911 call was placed at roughly 2:13 a.m. by Forbes’ roommate, who said that Forbes was shot by his girlfriend at the home, according to police.

Authorities said they contacted Lee after the incident and that she “cooperated with investigators at the scene.”
