The article on Oregon State University’s scientists’ climate proposal was a refreshing and enlightening look at the big picture in addressing global warming, (“To fight climate change, OSU researchers push novel plan: Educate more girls, eat less meat,” Jan. 11). It is this kind of context in which we should couch individual, state and national efforts to slow and reduce climate warming.
