Russian cultural festival set for Woodburn schools

WOODBURN: Woodburn School District’s Russian dual-language program will hold its annual Russian Cultural festival of arts and crafts on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 5:30 p.m. The event is co-hosted by Valor Middle School and Heritage Elementary School, 450 Parr Road NE, Woodburn.

Festival organizer Natalya Feoktistov said the festival will begin at Valor then proceed to Heritage.

The festival provides students with an opportunity to share what they have learned in their cultural units, including arts, crafts and music. The community is welcome to attend.

Molalla sets Make-it Monday program featuring cross-stitch

MOLALLA: The Molalla Public Library will have its Make-it Monday on Feb. 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The adult program will celebrate National Embroidery Month and Library Lovers Month with a cross stitch craft.

Garden club slates field trip, lunch and regular meeting

CANBY: The Canby Garden Club will take a field trip to Terra Nova Nurseries on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m. Located at 10051 S. Macksburg Road, Terra Nova are tissue culture propagators and growers of both annuals and perennials.
