Canadian visitors miffed by Woodburn Arco pricing

We travel south every winter to California from our home in British Columbia. This year we stopped over night on December 27th at Woodburn RV Park which was very nice.

Unfortunately we decided to head across town with trailer in tow to the Arco station on Lawson Ave. for gas. I asked the attendant to fill the truck then went inside to buy milk which they didn’t have. The cashier suggested the Chevron across the street for milk.

When I returned to the truck my wife had the receipt in hand for $112.21 which seemed expensive for 1/2 tank of gas. They were charging $6.69 a gallon. We then went to Chevron for milk I mentioned the price to the cashier, and he shrugged his shoulders and said he doesn’t know how they get away with it?

The next morning when we checked out, I mentioned it to the nice folks at Woodburn RV, and they were shocked and unaware of Arco pricing.

We stopped at the Arco station to make sure the price charged was not a mistake. They assured me that was what they charge.
