Local Artists Invited to Enter Oregon Wildlife Art Contest for Conservation Support

The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is hosting art competitions for its 2025 Habitat Conservation Stamp, Waterfowl Stamp, and Upland Game Bird Stamp. The winning art will be used on collector stamps and promotional items. Sales proceeds will support Oregon’s fish and wildlife habitats conservation.

The competition runs from August 30 to September 27, 2024, ending at 5 p.m. Entries should be submitted at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Headquarters at 4034 Fairview Industrial Drive SE, Salem, OR 97302. Artists can enter multiple contests.

Contest rules, eligible species, entry form, and past entries can be found on the official website. No entry fee is required. Each contest has a list of eligible species for artists to use as subjects.

The Upland Game Bird contest requires artwork of the California Quail. The Waterfowl contest accepts art of the Ring-necked Duck, White-winged Scoter, or Barrow’s Goldeneye. The Habitat Conservation contest allows artists to use any Strategy Species from the Oregon Conservation Strategy.
